Migrating Geodirectory to HivePress

Hi there, considering moving to Hivepress, I’m currently running Geodirectory with over 2,000 listings.

I have a few questions:

  • Is there a migration script available?
  • Does the directory map have the ability to do marker clusters?
  • Have there been any scaling issues reported with hivepress?

Hi,

  1. Unfortunately, there is no ready-made code for this, but we plan to add this feature in the future. For now, we recommend using our Import extension to import listings, and if you need a more detailed import, we recommend using the WP All Import plugin, but note that it requires field mapping.

  2. Yes, this feature is available, but only for Google Maps e.g.: Search Results for “” – ListingHive.

  3. There are no global reports, but it all depends on the usecase. Most issues are caused by third-party plugins, customizations, or cache.
