I am surprised being unable to find this here on the forum, using AI and at https://gist.github.com/search?q=user%3Ahivepress
There is missing link/button to approve/accept the listing (at WP-Admin, Listings).
So instead of a single click, one have to:
1. click “Quick edit”
2. click “Pending Review”
3. click “Published”
4. click “Update“
It is also not convenient to approve the listing without seeing its description, for that it would help if complete description is shown on a listing page (or an excerpt, i would accept 500 characters).
That way, admin can just click approve/reject(trash) link/button and scroll.
Is there no PHP snippet which would workaround lack of these things? I suppose that installing some WP plugin (if there is one that would enable more efficient approval), would not apply on a HivePress listing page.
Hi,
The approval workflow is designed so that, as a moderator (admin), you review the entire listing before publishing it. This helps ensure that no restricted or inappropriate content is included. Given that, the current process, opening the listing, reviewing it carefully, and then publishing, works as intended and is a sensible approach.
We truly value suggestions from our community. We’ll keep an eye on how much interest this feature receives and will consider implementing it based on user feedback.
Before this feature is implemented to stop wasting time of approving users, there is one thing approving users can do to improve inability to quickly review and approve listings and that is to subscribe to a RSS feed of all categories, because it actually shows descriptions of all added listings, unlike Listings page in WP-Admin.

@kseniia i can not update my 1st post, please fix your forum system so i do not need to bump threads each time i need to fix something. Also because you have failed to reply in 4 days to my message sent to https://community.hivepress.io/g/moderators and you disable DMs (so others can not contact you privately), so i will post it there even it is offtopic: please check my message sent to a mod. group which starts “Allow editing”.
I’ve updated your reply.
Since you’re a new member, you currently don’t have the option to edit posts due to activity requirements. However, you can always add a reply to an existing topic or create a dedicated post if you feel your solution deserves more visibility.
