Mutiple Bookings Query - Per hour with a gap between

Good day,

I am in the process of enabling multiple booking on my page but I am seeing a bug.

The user books for an hour - 9:00 - 10:00 and 13:00 - 14:00 as per the image:

Then when it comes to booking it changes the booking to 9:00 to 11:00

Is this an expected behaviour?
Do multiple bookings need to be back to back? (no gaps in between?)
