Hello HivePress Team and Forum Members,

I am currently utilizing the ListingHive theme along with the all extensions package. While the overall ecosystem is excellent and highly functional, the lack of a native OTP (One-Time Password) login option is heavily impacting my platform’s user conversion, resulting in a high bounce rate during registration. In my target niche, users have a strong preference for mobile OTP over traditional email verification.

I have already attempted to resolve this by testing with various workarounds, including Twilio and Login-with-OTP WordPress plugins. However, none of these options worked as intended for my case.

This feature has been actively requested on this forum since 2022. Given that we are now in mid-2026, prioritizing a frictionless authentication process is essential for any modern directory or marketplace. Seamless onboarding is the first and most critical step in the conversion funnel.

I kindly request the HivePress team to consider elevating the priority of OTP login on the product roadmap. In the meantime, I welcome any advice, custom code snippets, or stable third-party integration workarounds from fellow forum volunteers who may have tackled this challenge.

Thanks for the detailed feedback.

We understand the importance of this feature nowadays and will try to deliver it as soon as possible, most likely via the SMS notifications first, and Authenticator support later.
