No review button for vendors

Hi, I activated the review plugin for my website but I cannot see a button to write the review a vendor, am I doing something wrong?

Hi @Leon,

Once you’ve activated the Reviews extension, you should be able to see a ‘Write a Review’ link in the sidebar of each listing.

Clicking the link will open a small modal window for users to write their review, and afterwards reviews themselves can be found at the bottom of a listing.

I believe seperate Vendor Reviews are on the roadmap, but these have yet to be implemented.

It does not show in my listings, this is how it looks for me:

As you can see, there is no link to write a review.

That’s why I’m wondering if there is something wrong.

Hi @Leon,

It’s kind of hard to tell from your screenshot, but I don’t think you’re looking in the right place. By default, the link is found under the ‘Reply to Listing’ button in the sidebar on a single listing page.

Like this:

You can also change a few settings related to leaving reviews in the WP Dashboard via HivePress > Settings > Reviews.

Hi,

Currently, a vendor’s rating is based on reviews of their listings. To leave a review, please visit the listing page you want to rate, where you’ll find the “Write a Review” option in the right sidebar.
