No (review) IP addresses in wp_comments table

Hi,
I have rentalhive theme and review extension (Version 1.3.0 ). I wanted to disable the storage of author’s IP address in database (to be GDPR compliant). But noticed that there are no IPs in comment_author_IP column at all (database > wp_comments table). I suppose the information don’t transfer. Was it on purpose or it’s only bug?

Please note that HivePress does not save IP addresses; WordPress does, please check this tutorial How to Stop Storing IP Address in WordPress Comments
