Not removing expired listing

Hello,

Is there any different on expire listing scheduled actions for 1hour, 12hours, 1day and 1week. If there is not different, why need 4 schedule?

From the scheduled actions, i saw the task is completed but the listing still remain. I’ve set the the expiration period to 1, just to test but no listing is move to draft after that period expired. Is there any way I can view how many listing are remove from the scheduled actions.

Thank you.

Hi,

Please provide more information. Did you set this date using the Paid Listings extension or directly in the listing settings?

If you set an expiration date directly in the listing, there may be a conflict with third-party plugins.
Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists.

I set it at the Hivepress listings settings page. Expiration Period=1 and Storage Period=2. And I have try set it at products listings page Expiration Date=yesterday date. None of them is working. No other plugins are installed because I just want to test out Hivepress before decide to use it. Is there a logs that I can view at?

What is the different between scheduled actions for 1hour, 12hours, 1day and 1week?

Hi,

Most likely, recurring actions do not work. Please try setting the past date and waiting for a couple of hours. If this does not work, please check the hourly events logs in WP Dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > in the Failed tab. There should be more detailed information on why it failed.

From the scheduled actions, all the action complete via WP Cron without any error display. But when I check on the listings nothing remove.

Hi,

Please try the following steps:

  1. Disable all plugins except the HivePress extension.

  2. Edit the listing in WordPress > Listings, and set yesterday’s date in the Expiration Date field.

  3. Navigate to Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending and click Run on hivepress/v1/events/hourly.

  4. Check if the action has been triggered (it should be in the Completed tab) or if it has appeared in the Failed tab. Also, go to WordPress > Listings > and check if the Listing has received Draft status.

Please let us know the result, as we cannot reproduce it locally.

Hi Andrii,

There are 2 places to set the expiration date.

  1. If set the expiration date on Listings > product expiration date, this will works.
  2. If set the expiration date on Hivepress > Settings > Expiration Period and Storage Period. This will not works.

On Scheduled Actions, all action show action complete via WP Cron. no error.
Is Scheduled Actions take only product expiration date to process?
How about expiration date on Hivepress settings tabs?

Thank you.

Hi,

If everything works for you from the first point, then the issue is not related to Scheduled Actions. Therefore, please make sure that after you have specified the Expiration Period and Storage Period in the settings, you have added a new listing, as these changes will not be applied to old listings.
