Rolls up everything since 1.1.0.
New
- Gallery Notifications - Likes, comments, replies, and gallery access bought or running out, for my Additional Gallery for HivePress extension. A burst of likes on one photo arrives as “Alice and 12 others liked your photo” rather than twelve pop-ups. Needs Additional Gallery 1.8.2, or 1.8.12 for the links that land on the comment itself.
- Listing Moderation Notifications - Vendors are told their listing is waiting to be checked, which nothing said before. You get your own copy with the risk score and what was found, so the pending queue can be triaged rather than read. Needs Automated Listing Moderation 1.6.9.
- Holiday Mode Notifications - Confirmation when holiday mode goes on and off, how many listings went with it, and a warning about any that stayed hidden because their listing period ran out while the vendor was away. Needs Holiday Mode 1.7.4.
- Vendor Progress Notifications - Nine about how a vendor is actually doing: a weekly view summary, milestones, a listing suddenly getting attention, a listing nobody is looking at, and changes to response rate and speed. Needs Vendor Analytics Pro or Trust Signals to have anything to compare.
- Verified Vendors Are Told - Nothing said so before. Needs Trust Signals, which is what marks a vendor verified.
- Unread Count As An Action Bar Badge - The bell can sit on the bar, and the count updates as notifications arrive rather than on the next page load. Needs Action Bar 1.4.0.
- A Glass Effect For The Pinned Header - Matching the one the Action Bar offers, with its own opacity and blur.
Fixed
- Web Push No Longer Holds Up The Page - Each push was handed to Google, Mozilla or Microsoft during the visitor’s own request, once per browser signed up. Enough slow replies at once and the whole site felt like it had stopped. Pushes now go out in the background.
- Dead Subscriptions Are Forgotten - When somebody clears their site data or turns notifications off, the push service says so, but the answer was never read, so that subscription was retried on every notification from then on.
- No More Broken Links - Gallery access notices no longer read “Your access to 's gallery” pointing at a missing page when a vendor has been deleted, and review links are dropped rather than sent broken when the listing has gone.
- Messages Survive With Storage Off - A message sent while the Messages extension has storage switched off is no longer stopped by the recipient’s email preference. In that mode the email is the only copy, so stopping it destroyed the text entirely.
