One Click Demo Import Not working

One Click Demo Import Not working. Error returns that import file is not specified. I am following the steps exactly as outlined in the documentation.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Please clarify which demo content you are trying to import. Also, make sure that you install and import the demo content using this documentation:

I was following the second link https://help.hivepress.io/article/66-how-to-import-listinghive-demo-content. I have ListingHive (free theme) installed now

Hi,

Please provide more details regarding this issue (e.g., your actions step by step with screenshots, screencast, etc.). This will help us to reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Also, before importing, we recommend checking the settings of your hosting provider, as it may block such requests.

First I go to Import Demo Data under “Appearance” in Wordpress Admin Dashboard:

Then I upload the respective demo content files to their respective caches as such:

Then I press “Continue & Import”, and after the loading icon pops up, it eventually leads to an error message saying this:

Any help would be appreciated

I’m new. I just did the install myself on my new setup. Did you go to the downloaded zip file and unzip it first? Found the 3 files there? Just do one at a time. First, on the image that you included above, click on the “Choose File” for the content.xml button under the Import Content section, find that xml file to open. Do that one first. Process it. Then come back and do the other two separately? Can’t tell from your description your exact process.

Hi,

If this issue persists, please send temporary WP access to support@hivepress.io, and we will import the demo content for you. You can create a temporary access link using this plugin: Temporary Login Without Password – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org

Just created it. Where do you need me to send the login?

Hi,

Please send temporary WP access to support@hivepress.io.

Just sent. Thank you very much

Hi,

Thanks for the link, we checked in more detail and it looks like it’s the hosting provider that blocks such requests. We recommend checking their settings or contacting their support.

Just reached out to hosting provider and they said this:

"Thank you for contacting Support. I would like to thank you for your patience while we investigated this matter. Your request has been directed to our department for review. We have reviewed the issue and confirmed that there is no block on the server stopping the import. From what we can see it seems to be a bug in the plugin where a second log would get created relating to the upload, but it is never created. The transient referenced in the code never gets created. You will want to contact the plugin support to help you troubleshoot this issue.

Again, thank you for your patience. Please feel free to contact us 24/7 should you need any further assistance."

Not sure if this helps any but I did reach out to the One Click Demo Import Support as well.

Hi,

I see. Unfortunately, we could not reproduce the issue locally, so please send us a link to the temporary access, as the previous one seems to have expired.

Just resent
