Paid Packages without 'Field Price' field in the settings!

We have added a Paid Package (see picture) but there is no Field to set up the price in the admin, see below

Second Question - How to show up the packages on the front end ?
If we create a pricing page (new page), how to include the different packages ?

Thank you

Hi @Chris041973,

In your screenshot you haven’t selected a WooCommerce product to link to the Package/Plan.

Create a new WooCommerce product and you’ll be able to set the price there. Then once it’s been created, go back into the Package/Plan settings and select the WooCommerce product you’ve just created.

Once everything is set up correctly the Packages should show up on the front-end upon adding a new listing. It’s displayed as part of the listing submission flow, i.e you don’t need to create a separate page.

I think by default Admins can create listings for free, so create a new regular user to test things out.

Depending on if you’re using the Paid Listings or Memberships extension, the plans page will be shown before/after the page where you add the listing details.

I hope this helps!

Edit: I just noticed the listing limit you’ve entered is 100000

Rather than do that, you can just leave the box empty, and that will give them unlimited submissions.

Cheers,
Chris :victory_hand:

Thank you for all information, we are going to install WooCommerce …

Please could we add one Pricing Page with hivepress shortcodes for instance ? If yes, what is the shortcode ?
With the Memberships extension, could we add one Pricing Page ?
If not, I will add one Pricing Page (static page) with WP … for user information … because there are B2B websites …

About our Websites :
Only one Top Category is not free (unlimited listings, 365 days) … other Categories of Listings are free …
If your Membership Extension can offer the option to select only one Category of Paid Listings and the Packages shown on a Pricing Page, then we need it …
So far, we only need the Search Alert and SEO Extensions for 5 websites …

Hi @Chris041973,

The Paid Listings extension has now actually been combined into the Memberships extension, so if you buy it, you’ll be able to have far greater control over charging for different elements such as access to pages, and listing attributes, etc.

Because of the recent merge with the Memberships extension, Paid Listings will now only get small maintenance updates going forward, as well.

But yes, sorry, in either plugin, you can also set a front-end page to use as information for users. I don’t have Paid Listings installed anymore, but on my version with Memberships it’s the first option on the page, Plans Page (optional) - So create a new WordPress page, leave it blank, but save and publish it. Then, select the page you’ve just created as that option in the HivePress settings page. HivePress > Paid Listings / Memberships in the backend of WordPress to find this.

The page works like some WooCommerce pages where the content is auto-generated once selected, hence, leaving it blank.

Also, sadly, at the moment, HivePress doesn’t allow you to only charge for some categories while others remain free. However, the good news is, this functionality is coming in the next Memberships update which is due soon. I’m also waiting on this feature myself for another website I’m working on!

I’m not HivePress staff btw, just trying to be helpful!

The actual staff will likely respond to you tomorrow, if you have any more questions I haven’t covered.

Cheers,
