PDF Attachments attribute not working

Hi,

I have added a listing attribute called “Terms and conditions (if applicable)”, where vendors can add their Terms and conditions file for each listing. This was a field that was initially working, but recently, whenever you upload a file, it just spins as attached in the image and not load anything. I have tried multiple solutions such as debugging or solutions from hostinger, but they adviced that the issue may come from hivepress. Would you be able to assist please?

I’m not at my PC at the moment, but can you share a screenshot of the settings page for the custom Attribute you’ve set up?

Also, I think you may need to specify which file types are allowed to be uploaded in the Attribute settings.

Hi,

Have you tried uploading different files to rule out an issue with a specific file? Also, could you please let us know the size of the file you’re trying to upload?

HivePress uses the core WordPress upload functionality, so the upload process is generally handled by WordPress and your hosting environment rather than by HivePress itself. File size limits and other server-side restrictions can therefore affect the upload.

If possible, you can also share the file you’re trying to upload with us at support@hivepress.io, and we’ll check whether we can reproduce the issue locally.

I’ve also tried to reproduce the issue in my environment, but I was able to upload files successfully.

Yes, I have also tried with different files. The size of the file is 52 KB. I am going to share the file with you in that email.

I’ve tried uploading the file locally, and everything worked as expected.

Could you please let us know if you have any customizations on your site? If so, have you tried temporarily disabling them to rule out any conflicts?

Additionally, have there been any recent changes to the site, such as plugin updates, newly installed third-party plugins, or similar changes? There is also a possibility of a conflict with a third-party plugin, so please try disabling them one by one to identify whether any of them is causing the issue.

Before testing, please make sure you have a recent backup of your site so you can restore it if needed.

Could you also check the Console tab for any errors? You can open it by right-clicking the page, selecting Inspect, and then opening the Console tab.

Could you please also share your HivePress, PHP, and WordPress versions?
