Pleas help. my phone and whats app numbers are now not clickable and show html instead. has there been a code change ?

Yes - the latest update specifically had focused on improving the phone numbers, but it seems a few of us are experiencing bugs with it. Myself included!
I’ve just sent an email to the team, and so, I presume Ihor will push a quick-fix again soon, once he’s had a chance to look into it.

Thanks for reporting the issue.
This happened because the phone value format changed after the library update. Previously, the number was stored without spaces, but now it’s formatted for readability (for example, +48 678 345 634 ). tel: links are strict and don’t handle spaces correctly, so when a formatted number is used, the browser stops parsing the link at the first space. That’s why the link output broke.
To fix this, you need to normalize the value used in the tel: link by removing spaces and formatting. Please use the |digits modifier, for example:
%label%: <a href="tel:%value|digits%">%value%</a>
or
<a href="tel:%value|digits%" target="_blank">%value%</a>
This should resolve the issue.

Hi, whilst this worked yesterday, today all phone numbers will not save and the attribute isn’t showing online. do you know what has happened. when I try and add the phone number (in the back end) without spaces and save, it just doesn’t save
Also. the phone number actually saves when imported and then when the mapBox address is confirmed the phone number disappears and isn’t saved……
Guys, I have lost all my phone numbers now
