“Hivepress Import” breaks the website.
I have almost all of Hivepress activated (except for “Bookings” and “Opening Hours”). When activating “Hivepress Import,” I lose access to wp-admin.
The PHP error code is:
Fatal error: Cannot declare class ComposerAutoloaderInit439eaff7cf205a5b40a2e3bddaab853c, because the name is already in use in /home/customer/www/scrpcmp.com.es/public_html/wp-content/plugins/hivepress-tags/vendor/composer/autoload_real.php on line 5
My WordPress is the latest version (6.5.3). I have PHP 7.4.33 (I have tried PHP 8.3.7 and the message is the same)
I had the same thing happen when I updated plugins just now. As you can see in the path it mentions the Hivepress Tags, which seems to be a conflict with the Import and the Tags add-ons together. You’ll have to FTP in or go to your File Manager on your host and rename either your hivepress-import folder or your hivepress-tags folder to something else (like hivepress-import-DISABLED) for the time being to deactivate one of them. I tried deactivating one or the other, and it is only an issue when they are activated together. I chose to deactivate the Import add-on since I don’t use it as much as the Tags one. Once it’s safe to reactivate it, you can just rename the folder back to the original name.
My error for the devs:
[30-May-2024 16:58:39 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot declare class ComposerAutoloaderInit439eaff7cf205a5b40a2e3bddaab853c, because the name is already in use in .../wp-content/plugins/hivepress-tags/vendor/composer/autoload_real.php on line 5
Hivepress Import: Version 1.2.1
Hivepress Tags: Version 1.1.0
I am on a multisite if it makes a difference.
Please let us know when it is fixed so we can reactivate it.
Thank you for your feedback. The bug has been confirmed and we will fix it by the end of the week. As a temporary solution, we recommend removing the Tags extension from the wp-content/plugins folder for now (you can do this via FTP or the hosting panel if it offers the file browser).
Please re-download Tags via the purchase email and install this extension again, the issue should be resolved now. It occurred with the Import+Tags combo only; sorry for the inconvenience caused.
