Please I have been trying to create a bilingual website with listinghive using polylang but it does not work is there a better way to do it?
Polylang is pretty lightweight and it’s the best option at the moment. If you add listings by yourself it’s easy, but please note that if you enable front-end listing submission you’ll have to translate listings for users, they will not be able to do this via the front-end form and it’s not possible to force users to translate listings. actually, the problem I face is that when visitors on the french translated page click on search it takes them to the English search page instead of a french search page
Unfortunately, there is no full multilingual integration in the current version. We plan to integrate HivePress with WPML but there’s no ETA for this yet
If it’s urgent and you’re familiar with customizations or have a developer for custom work we can provide some guidance on WPML integration if this helps
