Hi there, the website is beautiful however accessibility of navigation is lacking. The menu header should be sticky (always showing while scrolling) this improves navigation and allowing users to easily explore the website. This improves SEO greatly as well. I have done a workaround and added important pages on a popup with a slider (slide to open) to call the popup again. Result? Time on site improved, visitors are exploring the site further, SERP improved, sales improved. This is a basic need for most type of websites.
Hi,
Unfortunately, there’s no such feature yet, but you can try using third-party plugins like this one Sticky Menu & Sticky Header – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org.
Also, here’s a CSS snippet that was shared to make the header sticky:
Hope one of these solutions will do the trick for now.
Yes i am aware we can do customizations for this purpose. I am just pointing out that it should be the default.
We do plan to add this feature. Thanks again for pointing it out, it helps us prioritize improvements.
Thank you for your reply. For those who has yet to have a sticky header menu, i suggest having one or create a navigation popup with slider (ensure you are adhering to seo best practices if you are doing the popup route) safer route is sticky header.
Purely out of curiousity – what do you mean?
I have been doing SEO for 20+ years and never once had popups have any impact on SEO results.
if you do implement it correctly of course it wont have any effect on seo
