Hey,
I was reading the Geolocation extension roadmap and see in the 12 month column, the ability for regular Users to add a location to their profile is mentioned.
I’ve actually already developed a custom solution to my suggestion that follows, however, I think it would be also be a very nice addition to see in the core of the Geolocation extension after the User’s location feature is added.
Basically, since you could require Users to input a location; it makes sense (to me anyway) that there would then be a natural button available which says something like “
Show results nearby”.
Perhaps, it could even completely replace the default search bar in some use-cases, and thus, help inspire a new theme to demonstrate this!
