Private Offers for Requests Feature

Hello,

I’m planning to implement the Requests feature in my marketplace site. However, I’ve noticed that all offers are publicly visible to all users.

In our use case, sellers would prefer to keep their offers completely private between themselves and the request poster. Is there a way to modify the offer visibility so that:

1. Only the seller who made the offer and the request poster can see the existence and details of the offer
2. Other users cannot see whether a specific seller has made an offer or any offer details

If this isn’t possible with current functionality, could you suggest any alternative approaches or customizations that might help achieve this?

There is definitely a way to this, as I implemented it.
I thought too that it was a lacking feature or, as you wish, a privacy problem.

I scoured my website for two hours (plugin / snippets / templates), looking for how I did it, to share my solution with you. Can’t find it. Sorry.

We plan to add this feature in future updates. In this version, we recommend using the private requests feature.
