I have purchased memberships and set up a few different membership options. However, users are not redirected to the plans page when they click on listings, they are instead prompted to log in.
How do I ensure users are redirected to the membership plans page directly after registering, ensuring they are unable to freely view the website without purchasing a plan.
I have separate plans for users and vendors. How do i ensure that the Add Listing button is only visible to users on the vendor membership plan.
Please make sure that you set the Listings page restrictions to All Pages at least for a single plan in Memberships/Plans. Then if users attempt to view the listing pages (including the search results pages), they will be redirected to the Select Plan page.
Let me know if you allow users to become vendors without adding at least one listing. If not, then the Add Listing button is meant for registering as a vendor at the same time, but if you added at least one plan with the listing Submission Limit set, then only plans meant for vendors (that limit the listing submission) will be displayed when users click Add Listing, there will be a Select Plan page with vendor-specific plans.
I have followed these steps. I now see that for all users of the website, if they try to go on the listings page, they are instead redirected to the memberships plan page.
I have other pages also, for example /listing-category/X. How do I also restrict these pages.
I don’t want to completely restrict the Listings page. I would like for logged out users to be able to see the page but not be able to click on any listings. How could I redirect them to the memberships plan page when they click to try to view details instead? Currently they are redirected to a log in prompt.
If you want to restrict individual listing pages, but allow searching and viewing categories, please select Single Pages in the Pages restriction for listings when editing a plan. Please also make sure that there are no plans with All Pages option selected for this restriction.
Then if logged out users try to search listings, they will be able to see the listing cards, but when clicking on a listing there will be a redirect to the Select Plan page. There should be no login form, unless the plans page is marked as Private in WordPress or there are other restrictions for this page.
