I am having problems removing the attribute from the search bar.
I have gone to the attribute settings it is on the left hand filters, but I don’t want it on top search box.

If you mean to remove this attribute from the search bar, then please navigate to Listings > Attributes > Edit this attributes > and disable the Searchable feature.
