Hi
I have purchased, installed, activated, and added a licence key to the search alert extension. But I don’t see anything on the frontend. How can I set it up.
Help me with that.
Hi
I have set up the plugin
From the vendor’s profile, I set a search alert for the category called computer technician, and as a customer, I have posted a job using the same category computer technician and posted. As an admin, I approved the request. As a vendor, I have not received an email notification via search alert for the category computer technician, for which I set the search alert.
Second question
As a vendor, I made an offer for a job request, and as a customer, I also did not receive an offer email notification.
Hi,
To create a Search Alert, you need to set the filters and activate the search. Once done, the “Set Search Alert” button will appear. Please note that alerts are sent within an hour to prevent spamming. Please make sure that you haven’t disabled [created an empty email] the offer received email in HivePress > Emails.
Please note that we have to move this part of the topic to the Search Alerts forum category. Since it’s related to a premium extension, the forum category is restricted — please add the license key to the account settings or consider renewing support if you still need assistance related to the premium themes or extensions Renew Support | HivePress
About notification
It sends a notification, but not for a search alert with a specific category. It sends for all requests when a new job is posted, not only for a specific job request category of computer technician.
I want a notification based on a search alert category that is set for a vendor
Please make sure that you set your filter before creating a search alert. We tried and tested on our side, and we received an email with the search alert for the specific category. Please see the screencast. Also please make sure that all search criteria are met for the specific search alert. There is a chance that, for example, the price of the request was higher than what is set in the search alert.
Regarding the fact that all vendors receive an email when a new job is posted, we also tried this. While all vendors receive a general link to the requests page, the vendor who set up the search alert for a specific category receives a link that redirects directly to that category [please see the screenshot].
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for your help it’s working now. I have now turned off the send new request notification to vendors in settings.
Glad that the issue is resolved!
