I’ve created a platform that allows businesses to post requests based on their needs (e.g. electrical issues, plumbing). On the platform, I also have service providers (craftsmen/artisans).
I would like to know how to notify these professionals by email based on their field when a new request is posted.
Should I use the Search Alerts extension for this?
Does Search Alert work with listings, or only with requests?

Hi,
You can enable the Notify vendors about new requests feature in HivePress > Settings > Requests. However, if you need personalized notifications (for example, only for a certain category or by a certain filter), then yes, we recommend considering the Search Alerts extension.
