Search Alerts is not displayed

Hi there, I have Search Alerts activated, but they aren’t working. From the article, once activated a “set search alert” option should appear on the listings page, and there should be an option in the user dashboard to manage alerts. Neither of these things are showing. Why is that?

Follow up: Is there a way to set up search alerts for hosts that is specific to their zipcode/location?

I’d like to be able to notify users and hosts anytime a new “request” is added, but only if they are in the same general area as the request.

Unfortunately, there’s no such feature, it would require a custom implementation.
