Is there a way to make it so that theirs a drop down box with all the categroy and search through that in the main page

Yes, you can, if you are talking about putting it in the search bar as a drop down.

Go to hivepress/settings/listings/search, then add categories. It will then be added to the search bar.

Then just go to the page, and go to the code editor by pressing the three little vertical dots on top right to copy the html code for the search bar and then place it in your home page. That is if it is not already there.

You can add Categories to Default Fields in Dashboard > HivePress > Settings. This way, Categories will appear in the Search bar.
