Hi, I’m running into a strange issue with the location search.
If I search for “United Kingdom” or “France” it returns listings as expected.
But if I search for “Italy” it shows “Nothing found” – even though I have two listings in Italy (Rome and Argegno).
If I search for the city names (e.g. “Rome” or “Argegno, Como”), those listings do appear.
In the dashboard under Listings → Regions, “Italy” is there as a parent region and the listings show up if I click “View” on that region.
So the listings are connected to “Italy,” but typing “Italy” in the search bar doesn’t return them.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be an indexing issue with regions?
Please clarify if you have changed the map provider on your website, for example, switching from Google Maps to Mapbox or vice versa. Also, let us know if you’ve changed the website language, as both these changes can affect how maps display or function.
If you have tried both map providers, there is a possibility that the Italy region was created with one map provider and then you switched to another. Regions should be enabled once the provider is chosen to avoid issues. Please try creating a new listing with an Italy address and publish it. This action should refresh the Italy region with the current map provider. Then check again.
