I have looked at all the previous posts but did not find my issue. If I missed it, I do sincerely apologize. I have a database where some entries have URLs/Websites in a attribute Website. This attribute IS marked as searchable. However, when I enter a known valid url in whole or in part, it does not find it. I know the URL/Website exists in the database because I did a SQL search and downloaded all URLs in the entire database and that is where I got the one I am showing in the attached screen shot. I tried putting it in copy & paste exactly as it downloaded and also trimming to just the domain name. Nothing.
I obviously have something I have set wrong and greatly appreciate everyone’s assistance in finding my errors.
“I tried putting it in copy & paste exactly as it downloaded and also trimming to just the domain name. Nothing.”
This was stated in my original post it. No returned results with full url or trimmed to domain.
I, also took an existing entry, edited it and resaved it - it will not respond (as if it was an indexing problem with the hp_Website meta_key. HOWEVER, I entered a completely new location for the same company and put in the same URL Website and the new location is also NOT showing up.
I am not sure if listinghive is just not searching hp_Website, or if there is an indexing issue with in postmeta. I hope these additional details allows one of you who are way smarter on this than I, to figure it out.
Okay, this is closed out. After doing more deep deep diving in to the SQL and other attribute fields, the hp_Website attribute is (for an unknown) reason not indexed and returned in searches. However, I was able to use other attributes including hp_Franchise that worked fine. Thanks to everyone.
Please note, my previous reply was taking into account the fact that you attached a screenshot of the backend of WordPress, and the screenshot showing you tried searching for the listing there.
