Search over multiple categories?

Hi, I wanted to follow up on the post here: Allow search filter to include fields outside of categories that will search all categories about how to filter by fields outside of categories.
@apos37 did you manage to build a solution for this? Happy to contribute in any ways. I would really like this feature. Maybe there is a way to run individual searches and combine the results?

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to do this, it will require advanced customizations and changes to the framework.

Thanks for your reply! I am able to query the database for specific terms over many categories. It is there way to map a specific sql query to hivepress listing object using a custom code? I really need this feature for my site.

I did not. I moved on to other things and haven’t circled back to this yet.
