Selectable filter based on user input attributes

Can I create an attribute in the vendor as a text, for example “City of shipment of the goods”,

and then display it on the vendors page as a filter in the list view, where you can also select the attribute saved by the seller ?

Currently there’s no such option, it would require a custom implementation because text/number attributes are stored as post meta fields, while selectable attributes are stored as taxonomy terms in the WordPress database.
