I have my categories as a checkbox on the filter sidebar. When I click on a category, and then click enter, it displays correctly. However, all the other categories are now gone.
If I want to change categories, I have to click “All Categories” first, and then click the next category I want which is quite an extra step for users.
How can I deal with this, hopefully without coding edits.

I attach two images.
The left image showing when no filter is being selected. The right image shows that when a filter is selected (after clicking filter button), the other categories become hidden. I would like them to not be hidden, because if the user wants to change the filter, then have to click all categories first, and THEN click a different category.
I see. Yes, this is how it should work by default, but we plan to improve the UI\UX so that you can select another category without unnecessary clicks. As a workaround, we can provide a temporary snippet so that you can select another category. Let us know if this works for you.
You can add it using the Code Snippets plugin Code Snippets – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org There’s one issue - it hides the All Categories option, but it’s possible to return to all categories by clicking the Listings page in the menu.
Another solution would be moving the category filter to the search bar, you can do this by adding Category to the Default Fields in HivePress/Settings/Listings/Search.
