Send Message Without Logging In

Hello,

I’ve noticed that many users have raised similar questions or requests. It would be great to have the option to send messages without requiring users to log in.

Are you considering adding this functionality?

Also, I wanted to ask - will there be a feature for users to view statistics (views) of their ads or job postings? Or is this functionality already available through a specific plugin?

Can you describe the use-case for messaging without logging in? … How would the message receiver respond to the message? Or know who sent it?

The HivePress Statistics extension achieves this, but please note, the statistics are only viewable for the owner of the listing.

  1. Being able to send messages without logging in could be useful in cases where someone wants to quickly respond to a job posting and send their resume - their contact details would be included in the resume, so registering would be unnecessary and time-consuming. This feature would also be very convenient for collecting inquiries on the website, allowing a manager to call back using the phone number or email provided in the message itself.

From a conversion standpoint, I believe this is a good idea - many users prefer not to register on websites.

  1. Also, am I correct in understanding that if the HivePress Statistics plugin is enabled, the person who posted the job or listing will be able to see how many people viewed it?

Thanks for the clarification. No doubt the actual HivePress staff will respond soon. While this will be possible, it’ll likely need custom development to achieve this as the feature you describe isn’t built-in to HivePress by default.

And, yes, the extension adds a new tab to listings where the owner of the listing can view a graph and count of visitors.
