Show category filter as a drop-down

Hello,
Currently the listing type is of a radio button style in the sidebar filter.
Can it be changed to a select dropdown or radio check to fit the other filter attributes ?
Cna it be done with a code in the functions.php for example ?

Hi,
Please try to add categories to Default Fields in HivePress > Settings > Listings > Search section, then if will be a drop-down menu in primary search bar.
