Show subcategories when click to categories in home page

Hello, how do I add a subcategory to a category so that it will display after the main category has been clicked on the homepage?

example. user clicks on the “food type” category on homepage - how do I show the subcategories to choose from once clicked? (such as american, italian, asian, etc…)

Hi! Under the Hivepress menu, click Listings->Categories, click on the category (or make one, if not existed), what you want sub-categories, “food type” ->editing, scroll down and check “Display subcategories instead of listings”
