I have some ‘select’ attributes in my website.
Some attributes are searchable in keywords search but not others.
The most surprising is the attributes I not checked for keywords search is working and the attribute I checked is not working.
Search ‘Sheikh’ in keywords search
Search ‘Teacher’ in keywords search.
Both have same backend settings.

Please make sure that after you have marked the attributes as Indexable, you have resaved the old listings, because the code is generated only after the listing is saved, including all the indexable attributes.
