Sort by Popularity Based on Order or Bookings

Hey,

I just wanted to suggest a new option that I feel would be useful for end users when searching for listings.

After searching, it would be nice if the ‘Sort by’ menu had another option of selecting ‘Popularity :up_arrow:’ - And, the logic behind the sorting order would equate to displaying the listings by the number of bookings/orders the listing owner had received, (or, the number of orders generated via an individual listing rather than the total number of a vendor’s orders)

E.g.

Chris has a received 3 bookings/orders for listing A.

John has received 2 bookings/orders for listing B.

After searching, John’s listing B shows in first place.

I select the new ‘Popularity :up_arrow:’ sorting option and the order now shows as listing A belonging to Chris in first position. (As he has the higher number of bookings/orders)

I hope that makes sense, and can, hopefully, make is way into a future update!

Cheers,
Chris :victory_hand:

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion. We’ll consider adding this feature.

Currently, this option is available in Statistics, but it sorts by visits.

Hi @kseniia,

Sorry, whilst on my phone I didn’t realise that I could scroll inside of the ‘sort by’ options dropdown menu, and as I am actually using the Statistics extension, I can indeed see the Popularity options. My mistake on that part!

Thanks for considering my version.

I’ll have a go at this with AI in the meantime.

Cheers,
Chris :victory_hand:
