I’m using JobHive and I just bought the Statistics extension. I’ve activated it and added the licence key in settings.
I can’t see anywhere to view stats on the front end (e.g. in my user accounts next to jobs I’ve listed), but I’m not too bothered about that.
In the back end, a Statistics section has appeared for each job. This is what I mainly want to see, however, it’s all zeroes for every job and a blank chart.
I’m tried purging the cache and visiting the site in incognito mode, and I have live traffic, but still no stats.
Do they take time to appear? Or is something broken?
Once you’ve got the Statistics extension installed, when you view a listing page on the front-end there should be a new ‘Statistics’ tab option under the title that’s visible for the listing owner to see.
On the front-end account menu > My Listings page which displays your listings as a list, there should be a little pie chart graph icon to the right of the listing title that you can also use to view them.
Like you mentioned, you can also view them by looking at a single listing via the backend.
As far as I know, the plugin doesn’t backdate/backfill data, but once you’ve hooked up the Google Analytics APIs, I think the graph/numbers update every 12 hours from what I can remember.
Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the data to appear. You can check the statistics again tomorrow, and if nothing changes, please let us know, we’ll help you resolve the issue.
P.S. Please note that we have to move this topic to the Statistics forum category. Since it’s related to a premium extension, the forum category is restricted — please add the license key to the account settings or consider renewing support if you still need assistance related to the premium themes or extensions Renew Support | HivePress
In HivePress settings, there’s a Google Analytics section that is blank and a ‘Grant Access’ button. Unfortunately I get a URI mismatch error when I click it. Does that button affect the stats extension?
Also, I don’t have any pie chart icon when I view jobs in the front end. Just a star and an eye.
Yes, this setting should be filled in, and clicking the button to grant access shouldn’t return any errors.
If you have a read through the documentation for the Statistics extension, you’ll find guides on how to fully hook your site up with Google Analytics and the APIs required:
