Submit Listing doesn't go to next Step Packages

When a user submits a new listing via the HivePress “Submit New Listing” flow, the form does not proceed to the next step (“Listing Packages”). Instead, after clicking Submit, the page refreshes back to the listing form and clears all entered data.

This makes the listing submission flow unusable for normal users, because they have no way to know they must manually navigate to the “Listing Packages” step.

Environment notes:

  • Theme: HivePress theme

  • Active plugins: ~45

  • Browser console: no errors related to the submission flow; the only visible console errors are Google Maps JavaScript related.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Log in as a regular user (vendor/listing submitter role).

  2. Go to Submit New Listing.

  3. Fill out the listing form fields (title, description, etc.).

  4. Click Submit.

Actual result

  • The page refreshes back to the listing submission form.

  • The form is cleared (entered data is lost).

  • The user is not redirected to the next step (“Listing Packages”).

Note: If I manually navigate to the Listing Packages URL directly after the refresh, the packages page loads and the flow can continue, but users won’t know to do that.

Expected result

After clicking Submit on the “Submit New Listing” form, the user should be redirected automatically to the next step: Listing Packages, with their submitted listing preserved for package selection.

Extra details

  • Site: MuslimMyrtleBeach.com (best use is to “submit Listing” then “create Account”, this would be the normal use.)

  • Console errors: Only Google Maps JavaScript related messages appear; nothing else obvious related to form submission/redirect.

  • This issue happens consistently (100% reproducible).

Hi,

Thanks for the details.

I tried to reproduce the issue on your website, but wasn’t able to. Please review the screencast: Paid Listings | Loom.

Is anything changed since you posted the topic? Also, do you have the Memberships plugin? If so, please disable it, as these two plugins share similar logic. I also noticed that you have customization on the website. Have you tried to disable it and check the issue? Additionally, do you have any custom templates that can override the logic? Additionally, have you changed your permalinks structure recently? And one more, are all your plans category-related? Is it possible that you chose the category during listing submission that is not linked to the plan?
