I’m thinking of upgrading to another theme for my marketplace / listings site.
Can I use every theme as a general purpose theme or is there a specific theme that can be tweaked to work as a marketplace theme (like ListingHive is)?
I really like the smaller listing blocks of ExpertHive tough! I tried manipulating the ListingHive theme, but my PHP skills are not good enough 
Sure, our premium themes are like bundles of extensions (each theme includes a set of extensions to get the same functionality as on the demo site, e.g. ExpertHive includes Marketplace, Requests, Tags). The theme itself just defines the design, so if you use it without specific extensions you can use it in the same way as ListingHive.
