I have a problem when I want to submit new listing and I am unable to choose main category when there are subcategories inside that main categorie.
For example I have a main category: car polishing and subcategory inside lamp polishing. I would like to be able to choose main category when I am creating new listing.
Any suggestions how to do that?
Unfortunately, there is no such option at the moment, please consider adding the child categories that cover all the possible variations (you can also add a sub-category like “Other” if it’s not possible to cover all the use-cases). Adding listings to different levels of categories may cause issues with the search functionality and category-specific attributes, this way you also ask users to select the most precise category for their listing.
