If you do not need regions instantly and prefer to build them gradually over time, and simply want to make the location process easier (rather than using regions for grouping listings on the homepage or similar purposes), you can consider enabling the “Generate regions from locations” option in HivePress > Settings > Geolocation. With this option enabled, whenever a user adds a listing, the region will be automatically generated. This allows you to populate regions organically over time without significant manual effort.
However, if you need to populate all regions at once, this would require working with Google location identifiers (place IDs) or coordinates. In that case, it is generally simpler to prepare a list of locations with coordinates and then run a script to generate regions from this dataset. We can provide a script for this approach if needed.
