What is the difference between listing expiration and expiration in Paid Listings?

Hi there i am seeing expiration period and storage period in Hivepress > Settings > Listing.

At the same time in listing > Packages i see Listing expiration

So how do these work? Is the settings in Hivepress > Settings > Listing set a global setting?

Will the listing expiration setting in Listing > Packages override the setting in Hivepress?

Actually I came across the same problem (read discussion)

Basically, if you use the Marketplace plugin, the package expiration takes precedence over the listing expiration field of the listing.

As I said in the discussion, it would deserve more clarity.

Should i leave hivepress settings empty as im using paid listing package however one of my package is free for 7 days. I am assuming i just need to have the storage period on the global setting? Need someone to clarify this

AFAIK, if you use ā€œpaid listingsā€ as I do, package settings will take precedence over HivePress global settings.
