What page does it redirect to after the password is recovered?

i am having the same issue as this previously closed ticket

my host is at namecheap easywp and they are looking at the server config/caching settings as you recommended.

by any chance do you have any new information on what caused this?

if not, exactly what should the correct message be displaying?

i am asking because even when you try to sign up on the live demo, you do not get an activation email so a screenshot of what one should see when successully updating their password rather than this would be helpful and appreciated.

We still recommend disabling all third-party plugins and customizations and clearing the cache. Also, please update your permalinks: How to refresh WordPress permalinks - HivePress Help Center. We recommend checking if the SMTP plugin is configured correctly: How to set up emails - HivePress Help Center. If these recommendations did not help, then this is a 100% issue on the part of the hosting provider.

It would be helpful to know what page or message I should see in a screenshot after after resetting the password via the link.

The host solved the issue and after resetting the password, it redirects me to my settings page rather than a password updated message.

Is this correct?

Or should it be showing a page saying ¨Password updated successfully¨ etc.

It seems odd to me because there is no confirmation anything was changed or updated to just be dumped back into the settings page.

I see. Yes, this is expected behavior. After you click on Reset Password, you will be automatically redirected to your account.
