Whenever i select one of the models on the website in the filter, the page shoots down

Hello,
I have a website where i use a lot of attributes. As a category i have cars. Parent attribute is make and child options is model. The problem is that with the model attribute there are a lot of models. For one brand i have made 300 child attributes. Whenever i select one of the models on the website in the filter, the page shoots down and i have to scroll all the way back up to go back to the filter menu.
Is there a way to fix this?
