White gap in grid with odd number of featured listings

In the settings I have these numbers:

When searching and filtering listings on the front-end, if there is only one featured listing present in that specific filter/category, the last item of the grid stays blank while there is pagination. This is confusing and also kind of annoying.

Instead of Regular listings per page the setting should actually be
Maximum listings per page, so that the remaining grid items are filled regardless of how many featured listings are displayed.

Is it possible to fix this?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add at least 9 listings to category X and at least 1 listing to category Y.
2. In each category set one listing as featured.
3. Set settings as in first screenshot.
4. View the listings page on the front-end. There is no gap.
5. Select category X in the filter. The gap is there.

I experienced this on a clean installation with no customizations.

Please note that this is the expected behavior of this function in this version. At the moment, there is no simple solution, it will require a custom implementation. But thank you for your feedback, we will think about improving the UI\UX for this feature.
