Why does United states and other states like Maryland have a count of 0?

Hi there,
I think i might be misunderstanding how regions works. I created many listings, mostly from the US. Regions were created as expected as shown in the screenshot below.

Why does United states and other states like Maryland have a count of 0. I was expecting that number to the number of listings in the US.
Looks like a bug?

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. This is how it should work by default. Because WordPress displays a number that clearly means that there are listings “in this region”, but in fact, it includes all child regions as well (i.e., if you have at least one child with one listing, then all parent will show that listing if you browse or search by them).
