Yoast says there is no image in the listing even when there is an image. I tried to add an image in the description (the same image the user added) and then yoast was able to see it. Is this a bug in yoast or is it really an issue for the seo?

We recommend you refer to their documentation or support (you can ask how this plugin detects the image using CSS classes or just through the featured images using PHP).
