Cross-post between categories

Hey,

Just dreaming up new ideas for potential use-cases, and thought it would be cool if we could allow end users the option of cross-posting listing details amongst various categories. To make it even cooler, allow us to monetise each additional category, (potentially with a discount for selecting multiple).

Please specify what exactly you mean by cross-post. Because you can add a new listing to that category, or assign a listing to multiple categories.

I meant when creating a listing instead of just being able to select a single category from the drop-down menu, you could assign their listing to multiple categories - (instead of creating multiple listings and selecting a new category each time)

Apologies, if this is already implemented. I didn’t realised this was possible. If so, can you please tell me how a vendor would select multiple categories to post their listing in upon adding the listing details?

This seems to work, but when I select a 2nd category it does not take it and updates the field but returns the previous single selection. Also going from a subcategory to a parent category deletes the previous selection. I only have this problem on the front-end. [image]

Many thanks for sharing this, @andrii - Hopefully, it can make its way into HivePress core as an optional checkbox in the backend one day!
