I am testing creating a listing and packages
I go to my site
click add listing
it has me create an account if I have not created one
add a listing
This then takes me to the home page and not an account page as expected (issue 1 - probably other reasons)
Next I click account
then click settings
then click xDelete Account
the url changes to …/account/settings/#user_delete_modal
nothing else happens
account is not deleted
Cannot send any more messages in this thread until tomorrow, but yes, other modals work fine.
All plugins were deactivated but for hivepress plugins since those are needed for the site to function. I will test and reply in this post. Deactivating hivepress makes the site unusable.
Only hivepress plugin - delete does not work
yes, console checked when clicking on it. Nothing but a jqmigrate message
Can you try to send a message to a vendor but being logged-out ? Normally you have a user login modal appearing. Just to see if it’s every windows modal which doesn’t work
I remembered I was using a child theme. I deleted it. No ability to delete account.
I switched to non-child theme. No button to delete account exists.
I uninstalled the child theme and the main theme.
I reinstalled the main theme.
The delete account button does not exist still. I took a picture of what shows in developer tool. The entire part of the form for the delete button is grayed out. For some reason it is not reading this part of the code. When creating a child theme, it ungrays it so the button shows, but the functionality does not exist.
And, I uninstalled the theme, reset my wordpress several times with all plugins deactivated, still the same results.
However, after deciding to move to a different directory theme due to the issues, resetting wordpress, investigating another theme for suitability, then returning the Hivepress, the problem resolved. Not sure the cause as nothing is different from when I reset everything before, but no longer an issue.
