Messages are not displayed in Account > Messages

When a user sends a message in response to an ad, the artist who posted the ad receives a notification in their dashboard. However, when they go to the messages section, no message appears—only the notification is visible.

The same issue occurs on the WordPress desktop version.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create two users: one as an artist (who posts an ad) and another as a client.
  2. Using the client account, send a message in response to the artist’s ad.

Actual result

The artist receives a message notification, but the message does not appear in the messages list.

Expected result

The artist should be able to view and access the received message in the messages section.

Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users. We have checked this issue, and it is caused by third-party plugins; after we disabled them, the messages were displayed on the front side. We recommend enabling one plugin at a time, so you can understand which one is causing this issue.
