Payments status not updating with bookings

Theres an issue with updating status of booking payment, when the user pays it still does not auto update to paid on the booking screen. i tried deactivating 3rd party plugins and switching between High-Performance Order Storage and the default one but still its not working. its the same issue this person described having https://community.hivepress.io/t/payment-issue-with-order-status-in-bookings/8610

what can be done to solve this issue?

You had a restriction on selling categories, so some bookings didn’t work: How to restrict selling to specific listing categories - HivePress Help Center
If you need to limit the booking feature to only certain categories, we recommend using this feature: How to restrict booking to specific listing categories - HivePress Help Center
Also, please test the available payment methods from WooCommerce, such as Direct Bank Transfer, as WooPayments, which you have enabled, will not work because it is a separate extension that is not integrated with the Marketplace.

thanks, is stripe payments compatible for the payment statuses to update automatically? (btw im talking about stipe payments not the “stripe connect” service)

Hi,

If you are referring to Stripe Standard which is available as a payment method in WooCommerce, then yes, everything will work correctly as with other payment methods.
