How Stripe Connect work

Hello.

I have a marketplace for short-term and long-term rental of accommodation and am in the process of setting up Stripe Connect to automate the payment to the hosts. If the payout is to be automatic, how does it work with regard to:

  1. Guests can cancel up to 24 hours in advance and get the full amount back.
  2. Guests can stay there for several months.
  3. Guests can book accommodation a long time in advance.

How should payment automation be set up then?

How is the payment method actually intended here? Will the hosts get paid when the stay is over?
